The Road to Performing at BeachLife Ranch Festival through Volume.com

Because of my participation with Volume.com’s Artist Accelerator Program, I was invited to perform a slot at a mega festival, BeachLife Ranch. This was a big deal for someone like me, who plays mostly local shows in South Florida and streams live music from home. I was an unsigned artist, opening up Day 1 of the festival that Jack Johnson would headline. It was very cool to be a part of, but it has also helped me grow my fanbase immensely. 

The festival was amazing, as I not only played a great set in front of a packed house of over 100 great new listeners in the festival’s acoustic “Speakeasy Stage”, but was on a bill with countless other top-tier artists. You can still see my set on Volume.com, as Volume.com allows streaming artists to broadcast any Video On Demand they desire to put on their artist page. I still use this when venues & promoters ask me for professional live footage. Check it out here.

This affiliation with these artists and BeachLife helped me after the fest, as I used the recognition from playing at this festival to book gigs in my local and regional area. I also saw a rise in my Spotify and Instagram activity overnight in parts of the country where I have never performed.

 It’s amazing to know there is a live streaming service that specializes not only in music but also in supporting artists through promotion on their own site and even finding special performance opportunities online and in person. I continue participating in Volume.com’s Artist Accelerator Program, as they are helping me promote my upcoming album release!
